Qm_file [file name] [qmap name] [spacegroup]
Define and read the map from the given file name. O will try to determine what type of map file is being read automatically. The map formats recognized are CCP4, PHASES, X-PLOR, TNT and EZD. If the program cannot determine the map format, it will prompt you. CCP4 maps calculated on a computer with a different byte endian can be read, but are not recognized automatically. Map files written by TNT do not store the cell parameters, or the sectioning mode of the map. The program will prompt you for the missing information.
Finally, the program will ask you to define the name of the spacegroup. It will attempt to open a file in the $ODAT/symm directory corresponding to that spacegroup. If it fails, you will be asked to define the name of a file contaning the spacegroup symmetry operators. If that fails, it will use spacegroup P1.
Binary map files are read very much faster than formatted ones, CCP4 maps are the fastest.
